1. Information we collect
We collect information you provide, including email address, seller phone number, horse listing content, photographs, videos or video links, and messages you send to GOODHORSES. Authentication providers may also generate account identifiers and security logs.
Our hosting, database and security providers may automatically process technical information such as IP address, browser type, device information, request time, error logs and pages requested.
2. How we use information
- Authenticate sellers and maintain accounts.
- Create, review, publish and manage horse listings.
- Display seller contact information that the seller chooses to publish.
- Operate QR profiles, search, sharing and marketplace features.
- Prevent fraud, enforce rules, investigate reports and protect the service.
- Respond to support, privacy and legal requests.
- Maintain, secure and improve GOODHORSES.
3. Public listing information
Approved horse profiles are public. Photos, horse details, price, location, seller email and seller phone number may be visible to anyone and may be shared through links or QR codes. Sellers should not include private information they do not want publicly displayed.
4. Service providers
GOODHORSES uses service providers for hosting, database, authentication, file storage, email delivery, security and related infrastructure. They process information under their own terms and privacy commitments as necessary to provide those services.
5. Cookies and local storage
At launch, GOODHORSES uses browser storage primarily to maintain seller sign-in sessions and core site functionality. We do not currently sell personal information or use it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
6. Retention
We retain information as reasonably necessary to operate the marketplace, preserve account and listing history, prevent fraud, meet legal obligations and resolve disputes. Public listings may be marked sold or removed while limited records remain for operational and safety purposes.
7. Security
We use access controls, encrypted connections and third-party infrastructure designed to protect information. No online system can guarantee absolute security. Protect your email account and immediately report any suspected unauthorized access.
8. Your choices and requests
You may update listing information through your dashboard while the listing is editable. To request access, correction, deletion or other privacy assistance, email bradeolson@gmail.com with “Privacy Request” in the subject. We may need to verify your identity and may retain information where permitted or required by law.
9. Children
GOODHORSES is not directed to children under 13. Sellers and account holders must be at least 18 years old.
10. Changes
We may update this policy as the service changes. The effective date above identifies the current version.
